This one is also free and hosted by the Indianapolis Cultural Trail and The Hot Room. It’s happening every Thursday through September from 6 to 7 p.m. on Lugar Plaza. Please use the website to register.

Stop by the elbow of the Canal Walk Mondays between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and grab a sweet or savory snack from a different food truck every week. This event began in May and it’s ongoing so you have plenty of chances to venture over for a bite.

Open every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May through October, this massive market takes place right on Market Street and features fresh produce, meats, cheese, baked goods, and you-name-it from hundreds of local merchants.

Saturdays from 2 to 5 p.m. from now through September you can stop by Easley Winery on College Avenue for some free live music! While there, you can purchase drinks such as wine smoothies, or order from local restaurants and have it delivered here to the winery. Don’t forget to bring a chair!

Show up on June 20th and June 27th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for some free live music at Monument Circle.

Canal Nights
Stop by for more free fun outside of the Indiana State Museum for all-ages outdoor activities and themed, hands-on experiments. There is a different theme each week, including Democracy Day, Chemistry is Everywhere, and Global Gathering. All events take place at the museum’s downtown canal entrance.
Juneteenth Free Day
The Indiana State Museum offers a free day Saturday, June 17th with an all-ages celebration of the history, art, and culture of Juneteenth. Activities and performances will take place in and outside the museum.

Find this exhibit in Indy’s Long-Sharp Gallery through July, featuring larger-scale drawings from Warhol’s last decade.
Changing Views: The Photography of Dorothea Lange
This exhibit is featured in Indy’s Eiteljorg Museum showcasing the efforts of Lange and other photographers to awaken the nation to social justice issues of the 1930s.
Eva Kor from Auschwitz to Indiana
Learn about one Auschwitz survivor who organized others and spoke about the Holocaust and her vision of empowerment and forgiveness. The exhibit takes place through August 3rd at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
